Based near Perth in Scotland, he is one of the most highly qualified and experienced shotgun coaches in the UK and holds international qualifications at the highest level.

Iain achieved his first coaching qualifications in 1984 and, since then has continued his pursuit of knowledge and experience. Over the years he has achieved all three levels of International Shooting Sports Federation Coaching Certificates, and now is one of the few A level coaches in the world.
He has worked with many shooters in many countries, and currently acts as the Discipline Performance Manager for Scotland's Commonwealth Games Shotgun Squads as well as being the dedicated Olympic Skeet coach.
